Yakishime Art Moon Vase IX

This Yakishime Art Moon Vase IX is crafted from hand-coiled stoneware clay and features a 12x12" wide opening. The unique surfaces are hand-painted with custom oxides and glazes, then fired two or three times. This results in a dark glaze inside that is watertight but should have a felt bottom to protect furniture. Inspired by ancient Japanese and Mehrgarh pottery, the vessel is created in the Wabi Wabi style, embracing imperfections like drips, cracks, and blisters for an authentic look.

Each piece is hand coiled stoneware clay. Fired multiple times and ways to create One of Kind Vessel.covered in custom slips, Oxides and glazes perfect for a coastal home or home with a modern rustic decor.

This Vessel is water tight and can be used for floral arrangements . we encourage testing however before use or furniture protection 

much in the style of Wabi Wabi practice, we encourage you to enjoy the imperfections that are a in my style  of  work.

May be wiped with damp cloth. Rubber feet will come each item to protect furniture from stoneware.
